Dragon Club Wildschönau

The dragon in our coat of arms is the Wildschönau mascot and features in the legend of how the Wildschönau Valley was formed. A terrible dragon terrorised the people of the valley until they killed it. In its death throes it bit a gorge into the Inn Valley- the Kundl Gorge.

The children learn about this and other exciting stories if they join the Wildschönau Dragon Club during the summer months. During the summer months 5 to 12 year olds can take part in the mountain adventures five days a week. They get to know the area better than their parents on adventure hikes, treasure hunts, and a visit to a farm, bread baking at the craft fair and building a camp in the woods. A varied programme for our little dragons.
